The Worst Analogies Ever Written in a High School Essay

They lived in a typical suburban neighborhood with picket fences that resembled Nancy Kerrigan's teeth.

He spoke with the wisdom that can only come from experience, like a guy who went blind because he looked at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it and now goes around the country speaking at high schools about the dangers of looking at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it.

She caught your eye like one of those pointy hook latches that used to dangle from screen doors and would fly up whenever you banged the door open again.

The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn't.

McBride fell 12 stories, hitting the pavement like a Hefty Bag filled with vegetable soup.

From the attic came an unearthly howl. The whole scene had an eerie, surreal quality, like when you're on vacation in another city and "Jeopardy" comes on at 7 p.m. instead of 7:30.

Her hair glistened in the rain like nose hair after a sneeze.

Her eyes were like two brown circles with big black dots in the center.

Bob was as perplexed as a hacker who means to access T:flw.quid55328.com\aaakk/ch@ung but gets T:\flw.quidaaakk/ch@ung by mistake.

He was as tall as a six-foot-three-inch tree.

The hailstones leaped from the pavement, just like maggots when you fry them in hot grease.

Her date was pleasant enough, but she knew that if her life was a movie this guy would be buried in the credits as something like "Second Tall Man."

Long separated by cruel fate, the star-crossed lovers raced across the grassy field toward each other like two freight trains, one having left Cleveland at 6:36 p.m. traveling at 55 mph, the other from Topeka at 4:19 p.m. at a speed of 35 mph.

The politician was gone but unnoticed, like the period after the Dr. on a Dr Pepper can.

a thought for the day... well, night actually

Have you ever miss an oppurtinity, a huge one simply because you're stupid enough not to grab the chance while you can? and you are not audacious enough to go for it and somehow on the brink of doing it (whatever that may be), you started to have doubts, and you question yourself? "what if..?" kinda question. 'what if i fail?', 'what if people laugh at me?', 'what if i die?' well, no that one was a bit exaggerated. but anyway these questions will do no good but harm and sorrow.

Seize the oppurtinity when it's right in front of ya nose. when we don't, who else to be blamed but ourselves. Along the way, we'll gonna meet lotsa mr failures and dr misfortunes, but that's ok coz we'll achieve a lot more! sometimes, things we had never imagined possible! there will always be ppl who'll try to imprecate and damn other ppl. the kind of ppl who'll never be happy until they make someone's life miserable., well, f them! haha. stop thinking bout others and start thinking bout urself!

p/s: this chicken soup for the bored soul is specially brought to you by blasé moi~ oh, and dunt worry im not sick!
and by the way, this day in history: Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried the towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

care for some puki?

These pukis are really cute but do not be deceived by these little cunning creatures. They bite! haha.
"Puki" may not mean anything to anyone else except to those who live in Malaysia / Singapore or to those who possibly know malay / manglish / singlish.
Despite the bawdy meaning behind it, this Puki is actually fun to play and has some sort of addiction towards it.
and they even have a story....

"The Problems with Pukis

On a routine mission to Deep Space Station G-7, you pick up a cute, harmless Puki as a pet. Sound familiar? Nah...

Well, hell yeah! hahaha

Following exposure to dangerous Gamma radiation, the Puki began to reproduce rampantly (little wonder about the smile). It also grew a set of sharp teeth and a taste for blood!
ouucch~

As the sole survivor, you must race through the corridors of your ship, and put the little beasts in their place for good. Or something"

The Pirates say 'Aye'

Last weekend i watched the sequel to the first Pirates Of The Caribbean, The Dead Man's Chest. Yeah, somehow France is so decelerated when it comes to Hollywood movies showing in local cinemas. ..worse, some movies (like Scary Movie 4, and 666 or whatever the name for that movie) were only released in french version. Luckily those are the kind of movies which you don't mind watching em on DVD or cilok from someone who downloaded movies illegally..hehe
but anyway, The Dead Man's Chest wasn't so bad nor was it that fascinating. Maybe i said this because i was extremely hungry as i didn't have time to eat anything before watchin it. The film started reaally slow eventhough i missed the first few minutes of the show. and Keira Knightley was invisible for the first hour of the movie! because the plot has her imprisoned by a corrupt provincial governor who bribes her fiance Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) into capturing pirate Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and his magic compass (it points the way to riches, or something). What we get instead is a snootfull or Bloom, which is great news if you're a 12-year-old girl.
All infusions of humor and spirit come from the dippy pirate Sparrow; Depp plays him with that slurred and comically bad continental accent, it's funny often as not, but absent any kind of narrative propulsion, his digressions and inventions seem like decoration to disguise what looms as an increasingly obvious and unpleasant fact: The movie is going absolutely nowhere.

As the pirates say... AAAARRRRGGGHH!

All I want to see is Knightley make out with someone, and that doesn't happen until towards the end of the movie.
At least, the computer generated characters aren't so bad, the Kraken - bunch of mutated human: slimy, marine-like, cartilaginous body. They are suppose to be scary but they look daffy at times.

Whatever it is, i'm still gonna watch the third and the last (i think) next year. The Dead Man's Chest is still a fun summer movie to watch.

Vexing sleeping disorder!

help me! haih, dah berapa hari dah tido tak betul ni. bangun pukol 11.30 am tido pkol 4 pagi. Kelas plak kol 1pm, kena tunggu bas paling lewat kol 12.30 dan kalau lewat dari tu confirm en retard!
Ini sume sebab 'La Guerre' tiap2 malam. 'La Guerre' tu menatang ape? maksud die 'Perang' dalam BM. tapi takde la perang dunia ketiga kat sini, but technically it's still war as we played conjointly Command and Conquer: Zero Hour guna LAN (Local Area Network). walaupun dok disconnected je, tapi gigih gak main again n again. Oleh dengan itulah tidur ku terganggu dan kalaupun dah habis main awal (2am), tapi sebab before2 this selalu habis kol 3 hingga 4 pagi, jadi tak dapat gak tidur walaupun nak tidur. haha. whatever. i know i have to be more productive comes August, in which i'll be entering IUT next month... and that reminds me i actually have lots to do... waaa, not gonna talk bout it now cause it's really dispiriting. so, i might as well do something 'productive' now rather than typing all these bunks... like watching Bleach for example! hahaha

Wow!

While I was browsing, i found out some really cool facts concerning Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. Well, yeah they were both American President the year I don't even know where I was. We all know they were both assassinated, but read this...
